Work Hours
2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM

Responsibilities
Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic control systems for machines and equipment. Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits. Install electrical and electronic controls by interpreting schematics or blueprints. Possess knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems. Perform basic mechanical repairs. Complete tasks assigned to lower classifications when needed and may direct their work. Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures. Monitor and assess installed electrical equipment for hazards, necessary adjustments, or replacement. Interpret blueprints and work from sketches or verbal instructions. Layout, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, wiring, equipment, and services including panels, breakers, and conduit. Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures and complete circuits to specification. Use tools and instruments to repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment. Perform various duties as assigned by the Group Leader.

Qualifications
An associate degree (two years) and a minimum of five years of relevant work experience are required. Must be able to use a computer to locate parts and log work in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Job Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods, sit, bend, stoop, and use manual dexterity. Must lift at least 50 pounds, verified by a pre-employment physical. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check is also required.

Must Have Skills and Experience
Two-year associate degree and five or more years of relevant experience. Experience designing and troubleshooting electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits. Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting. Experience installing electrical and electronic controls using schematics or blueprints. Familiarity with electrical power and water distribution systems. Ability to make basic mechanical repairs and interpret blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.
