Electro Mechanical Technician

Job DescriptionJob Description

1. Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on complex production equipment supporting Single Port robotic surgical systems during the 3pm–12am swing shift.

2. Respond to assembly line challenges with hands-on technical evaluation and equipment/process assessments, escalating as necessary.

3. Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and consistent performance.

4. Document all issues, observations, actions, and resolutions during shift activities using ERP systems and proper communication protocols.

5. Support Process and Equipment Engineers with fitting, designing, and integrating new components and machinery into existing systems.

6. Execute Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and follow strict safety protocols to control equipment access during maintenance tasks.

7. Assist with IQOQPQ protocols (Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, and Performance Qualification) for new equipment.

8. Use and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and 3D CAD models (SolidWorks ) to troubleshoot and modify systems.

9. Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, machining, and thermoforming in diagnostics and improvements.

10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, planning, clinical engineering, and suppliers to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
