Maintenance Associate – Rotating Night Shift

Location: Conyers, GA
Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am (2-3-2 schedule)
Pay: $26–$33.58/hr + $2/hr night differential + $3,000 sign-on bonus

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Associate to support a high-volume, automated manufacturing facility. This position plays a key role in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure maximum uptime. With recent facility investments and two new production lines launching this year, this is a great opportunity to join a growing, stable operation.

The Maintenance Associate will work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems while supporting preventive maintenance programs, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement efforts.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment across 10+ process lines, minimizing downtime

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues

• Work with electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase and low-voltage controls

• Perform preventive maintenance and document work in a CMMS system

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and hydraulic diagrams

• Replace and maintain motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, and other power transmission components

• Assist with equipment installations, rebuilds, and cabinet work

• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to support safe, efficient operations

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years industrial maintenance experience (plastics, packaging, or consumer goods )

• Strong mix of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

• Knowledge of VFDs, servo motors, PLCs (troubleshooting )

• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and hydraulic drawings

• Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics

• Proficiency using multimeters to measure voltage, current, resistance, and continuity

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus)

• Must provide a complete toolset and toolbox by the end of the first week

• Repeats on a 2-3-2 cycle
