Electro-Mechanical Engineer
Location: Webster, TX
Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both mechanical and electrical engineering, with a focus on developing innovative solutions that integrate hardware and software systems. This role involves designing, testing, and implementing electro-mechanical systems and components.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electro-mechanical systems and components for various applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate robotics and automation technologies into existing systems.
- Conduct tests and evaluations to ensure reliability and performance of electro-mechanical systems.
- Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed design specifications and documentation.
- Analyze and troubleshoot electrical components and thermal systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Support the design and implementation of battery systems and control systems for enhanced performance.
- Research and integrate aerospace hardware solutions as needed to meet project specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in robotics and automation technologies.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
- Familiarity with control systems and thermal systems design.
- Experience with CAD software, specifically SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of battery systems and electrical components.
- Prior experience in aerospace hardware development is a plus.
