As a Senior Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer, you will lead complex electro-mechanical design projects for radiation monitoring systems, shaping design strategies and mentoring engineering teams. You will play a key role in ensuring product safety, quality, and compliance while driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed electrical and mechanical schematics, drawings, and documentation using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Lead the development and review of advanced electrical and mechanical design documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and installation instructions.
- Oversee CAD workflow optimization and automation.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
- Drive compliance with nuclear industry standards, regulations, and quality assurance programs (ISO 9001, NQA-1).
- Collaborate with project managers, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Engage with customers and regulatory bodies as needed to support design approvals and audits.
- Identify and implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve product performance and reliability.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or related field; Master’s degree .
- 7+ years of electro-mechanical design experience, ideally within nuclear or other highly regulated industries.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical Schematics, or comparable software.
- Deep understanding of electro-mechanical system design, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven leadership, mentoring, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
