As a Mid-Level Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer, you will independently develop and manage electro-mechanical design projects for radiation monitoring systems (RMS). You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver robust, compliant solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed electrical and electromechanical schematics, drawings, and documentation using AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Generate and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs), assembly instructions, and procurement documentation.
  • Lead CAD process enhancements and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in cross-disciplinary design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Ensure design compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality systems (ISO 9001, NQA-1).
  • Support project management activities including schedule tracking and resource coordination.
  • Interface with suppliers and manufacturing to resolve design-related issues.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in electro-mechanical design, preferably in nuclear or regulated industries.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical Schematics, or equivalent software.
  • Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, wiring, control panels, and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
