Rate: £35.00–£45.00 per hour (DOE)

Are you an experienced Electromechanical Design Engineer with a background in electrical and mechanical layout for complex products?

We are a world-leading developer of high voltage power supply solutions for OEMs in the medical, scientific and security sectors and are looking for a Contract Electromechanical Design Engineer to support the delivery of cutting-edge technologies used across global markets.

This hands-on contract role is ideal for someone with strong Inventor and AutoCAD skills, electro-mechanical layout expertise, and a collaborative working style.

As a Contract Electromechanical Design Engineer, you will:

* Design and document mechanical and wiring aspects of high voltage electronic products

* Produce and maintain piece-part and assembly drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation

* Generate parts lists and maintain product data in the company’s database

* Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to ensure high-quality build documentation

* Create system schematics, wiring diagrams, and support production engineering

* Use 3D CAD software (Inventor/AutoCAD) to support layout and development work

* Support ISO9001 and ISO14001 activities and quality documentation

What You’ll Need:

* HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

* Proven experience in electromechanical design in a manufacturing or engineering environment

* High proficiency in 2D/3D CAD (Inventor & AutoCAD essential)

* Good understanding of modern manufacturing techniques

* Ability to work independently and accurately under time pressure

* Strong MS Office skills and clear documentation abilities
