These instruments are available in direct-reading and self-contained systems, providing live data output or internal storage. Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in San Diego, CA. The Electro-Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electromechanical components, soldering, and using hand and power tools. Day-to-day tasks include reading blueprints, assembling parts, testing finished products, and performing quality checks to ensure high standards are met. The position also includes general fabrication, assembly, and test of electro-acoustic transducer and subassemblies and basic test instrumentation. The candidate will also be trained On-the-job (OJT) and will be familiarized with the company working requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Soldering and Electromechanics
- Experience in Mechanical Assembly
- Skilled in using Hand Tools and Power Tools
- Attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Performs light preventative maintenance on equipment and keeps shop clean and organized.
- Knowledge about multimeters and simple electronic test instruments.
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification is a plus
