Job Title:\n\nElectrical Mate\n\nRole Summary:\n\nWe are seeking a reliable and experienced Electrical Mate to assist with ongoing electrical works across TFL Underground stations in Zones 1, 2 & 3.\n\nThe successful candidate will support electricians and telecom engineers on night shifts, carrying out installation and cable support works under supervision. This role requires a minimum of 2 years' experience on similar rail or infrastructure projects and a valid CSCS card (or equivalent grading card).\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nAssist in the installation of Cable Management Systems (CMS), including:\n\nTrunking\n\nTray\n\nConduit\n\nSupport with the installation, termination, and testing of:\n\nCAT6A and fibre optic cabling\n\nField antennas and associated telecoms equipment\n\nWork effectively as part of a team under the supervision of the Site Person in Charge (SPC)\n\nEnsure work is completed safely, accurately, and in line with project specifications\n\nMaintain good housekeeping and follow site health & safety procedures\n\nShifts & Hours:\n\nNights: 23:45 - 04:45\n\nDays: Sunday to Thursday\n\nStart Date: ASAP\n\nWeekend Work: Available at enhanced rates\n\nDuration: Ongoing (until end of 2026; continued work subject to performance)\n\nMandatory Qualifications & Requirements:\n\nCSCS Card or Grading Card\n\nSentinel ICI (Industry Common Induction)\n\nDBS Check\n\nAsbestos Awareness Certification\n\nFace Fit Test (proof required or must be undertaken)\n\nPreferred Additional Training:\n\nFirst Aid\n\nPASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers' Association)\n\nLocation:\n\nWork will take place at TFL Underground sites in Zones 1-3.
