Electrician Technician

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to join our team at a leading manufacturer of low-maintenance vacuum switchgear. This is a hands-on role for a motivated professional with a strong background in electrical systems, diagnostics, and assembly. The position offers both day and night shifts, Monday through Friday, providing flexibility for different schedules. Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and wire advanced power distribution switchgear and custom control cabinets.
  • Fabricate and install bus bars; align and test electrical components and systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, low voltage, and control systems.
  • Use precision tools (e.g., voltmeters, ohm meters) to test and repair electronic parts.
  • Perform on-site field service and maintain accurate service documentation.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in electrical assembly, hydraulics, or control systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams; strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with tools such as voltmeters, wire strippers, and crimpers.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or quality tools like Calypso is a plus.
  • Military training or field service experience is highly valued.
