About the Role\n\nWe’re currently seeking qualified Electricians to join a leading organisation in the renewable energy sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking business that’s driving the UK’s transition to a more sustainable future.\n\nYou’ll play an essential role in maintaining and optimising existing rooftop solar PV systems across domestic, educational, community, and commercial sites.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance on rooftop solar PV systems\n\n * \n\n Perform system testing, fault diagnosis, and component replacements (including meters and inverters)\n\n * \n\n Work safely in loft spaces and with step ladders\n\n * \n\n Keep up to date with relevant legislation and industry best practices\n\n * \n\n Provide technical support to colleagues and maintain high-quality standards\n\n * \n\n Deliver excellent communication and customer service\n\n * \n\n Adhere to all health & safety procedures and risk assessments\n\nRequirements\n\nEssential:\n\n * \n\n C&G 2330/2360 Part 1&2 or 2365 Level 3 Diploma / NVQ3 (or equivalent)\n\n * \n\n 18th Edition Wiring Regulations\n\n * \n\n Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience\n\n * \n\n Full, clean UK driving licence\n\nDesirable:\n\n * \n\n 2391 / 2394 / 2395 Testing & Inspecting qualification\n\n * \n\n Experience with solar PV systems\n\nAdditional Skills:\n\n * \n\n Strong communication and attention to detail\n\n * \n\n Competent computer literacy (Apple iPhone/iPad advantageous)\n\n * \n\n Analytical and problem-solving abilities\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary with annual reviews\n\n * \n\n Contributory pension scheme (up to 5%)\n\n * \n\n 25 days’ annual leave + birthday off + additional days for length of service (up to 30)\n\n * \n\n Option to buy or carry over annual leave\n\n * \n\n Company sick pay and death in service cover\n\n * \n\n Employee Assistance Programme\n\n * \n\n Excellent parental and family benefits\n\n * \n\n Long service awards\n\n * \n\n Regular social events and a supportive team culture\n\n * \n\n Opportunities for internal promotion and career development\n\n * \n\n Flexible working options for better work/life balance\n\n * \n\n Bike-to-work scheme\n\nAt SERT, we are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where equal opportunities thrive.
