Purpose:

- The Electrician works in Forge, TMP, Production and Machine Shop by installing, troubleshooting and repairing facility electrical control systems, PLC, CNC relay and computer controlled manufacturing equipment.
- An Electrician uses a variety of hand tools.

Major Position Responsibilities
- \n
- While installing, troubleshooting and repairing facility electrical systems, PLC, CNC relay and computer controlled manufacturing equipment, an Electrician regularly reads and comprehends electrical drawings to analyze all low, medium and high voltage systems.
- Works with and follows Basic Rules of Manufacturing, GDOTS, Scranton Environmental Policy, ISO Documentation, Quality Policy and other work related policies.
- At all times demonstrates common electrical safety and safety practices associated with the manufacturing environment and the use of hand or industrial equipment.
- Follows lockout/ tagout and confined space entry procedures.
- Adheres to hazardous material.
- Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
Required Education/Experience:
- \n
- An electrical degree from a college or technical school or any combination of education, training or work related experience
- 3+ years experience in a heavy manufacturing environment

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- \n
- Must be able to pass an aptitude test for Electricians
- Must be willing to work off shifts and experience working in an union environment
