The Apprentice Electrician reports to the Electrical Integrations Manager. Responsibilities include Building, Wiring and Troubleshooting Electrical Scopes on Manufactured Equipment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- \n
- Troubleshooting Wiring, Variable Frequency Drives, Transformers, Motors, Power Panels, Transmitter's, PLC's, Pump Panels, MCC's, other associated equipment.
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing Variable Frequency Drives, Transformers, Motors, Power Panels, Transmitter's, PLC's, Pump Panels, MCC's, other associated equipment.
- Testing electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
- Inspecting systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
- \n
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Apprentice License .
- Valid driver's license.
- Good time management skills
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools and electronic equipment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, material safety data sheets (MSDS), mechanical drawings, maintenance repair, installation and procedure manuals.
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea.
- High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
