The Apprentice Electrician reports to the Electrical Integrations Manager. Responsibilities include Building, Wiring and Troubleshooting Electrical Scopes on Manufactured Equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

\n
• Troubleshooting Wiring, Variable Frequency Drives, Transformers, Motors, Power Panels, Transmitter's, PLC's, Pump Panels, MCC's, other associated equipment.

\n

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing Variable Frequency Drives, Transformers, Motors, Power Panels, Transmitter's, PLC's, Pump Panels, MCC's, other associated equipment.

\n

• Testing electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.

\n

• Inspecting systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.

\n

• Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

\n

• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

\n
• High school diploma or equivalent.

\n

• Apprentice License .

\n

• Valid driver's license.

\n

• Good time management skills

\n

• Experience working with hand tools, power tools and electronic equipment

\n

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, material safety data sheets (MSDS), mechanical drawings, maintenance repair, installation and procedure manuals.

\n

• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.

\n

• Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea.

\n

• High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.

\n
