Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Electrician 3 role in Firebaugh. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:

Assemble, install, and test motor control devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, solenoids, and other electrical equipment and components.

Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.

Prepare sketches showing the location of wiring and equipment, or follow diagrams or blueprints, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before the completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring.

Install power supply and control wiring for newly installed machines and equipment, such as conveyor systems.

Install wiring and electrical components in specific electrical panels.
Requirements:

Associate or technical school degree , or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to diagnose the cause of electrical or mechanical malfunctions or failures in operational equipment and perform preventative or corrective maintenance.

Ability to replace faulty electrical components of machines, such as relays, switches, and position-sensing devices; replace electric motor bearings and reconnect electrical power to motors.

Ability to interpret specifications, blueprints, charts, related sketches, electrical schematics, ladder logic in programmable controllers, technical manuals, written instructions, and assigned duties.

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and work extended hours, weekends, and any shift assigned during the fresh pack season, typically July – early October.
