Electrician, BTP

Job Description

Perform rough and final wiring installations, ensuring proper routing and connection of electrical wiring according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Essential Functions

    \n
  • Install wiring for power distribution, lighting, heating systems, and other electrical components.
  • \n

  • Construct and install low voltage electrical panels including mounting components, wiring connections, and labeling for ease of use and maintenance.
  • \n

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in RVs, including identifying and repairing faulty wiring, components, or systems.
  • \n

  • Use electrical testing equipment such as meters and circuit testers to analyze and diagnose problems accurately.
  • \n

  • Work closely with team members to coordinate projects and ensure efficient workflow.
  • \n

  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • \n

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and hours worked
  • \n

Qualifications

    \n
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • \n

  • 1-3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • \n

  • Proficiency in electrical installations, including controls, lighting, panels, heaters, etc.
  • \n

  • Understanding of low voltage electrical systems and components.
  • \n

  • Knowledge of circuit breakers, converters, and transformers.
  • \n

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment.
  • \n

  • Familiarity with engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
  • \n

  • Competence in using electrical testing equipment and tools.
  • \n

  • Experience with wire identification, routing, and installation.
  • \n

  • Comfortable working at heights as needed for electrical installations
  • \n

This is a production classification, and employees work in a factory environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, heavy equipment, and machinery. Work involves considerable standing, stooping, bending, or sitting for long periods of time. May lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
