Job Description\n\nJob Title: Electrician and Electrical Improver (Contract)\nLocation: Oxford, OX2\nDuration: 3 Months\nRate: £180 - £240 per day\nWorking Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our project team on a student accommodation development in Oxford (OX2). This is a contract position for an initial 3-month period, with competitive day rates on offer.\n\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation works to a high standard, ensuring compliance with regulations, site safety, and project deadlines.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Undertake electrical installation works on student accommodation projects.\n\n * \n\n Install containment, wiring, lighting, small power, and distribution systems.\n\n * \n\n Read and work from technical drawings and site plans.\n\n * \n\n Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to industry standards.\n\n * \n\n Collaborate with site managers and other trades to meet project deadlines.\n\n * \n\n Maintain a clean and safe working environment.\n\nCandidate Requirements\n\n * \n\n JIB Gold Card / ECS for improvers\n\n * \n\n 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).\n\n * \n\n Proven experience working on residential or student accommodation projects.\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of electrical installation standards and regulations.\n\n * \n\n Own tools and PPE.\n\n * \n\n Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\n\nWhat We Offer\n\n * \n\n £180 - £240 per day\n\n * \n\n Guaranteed 3-month contract with potential for extension.\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to work on a major Oxford development project
