Electrician

We're hiring a qualified Maintenance Electrician to carry out electrical repairs and installations across social housing properties in Manchester. The role requires NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition certification, a UK driving licence

A not-for-profit housing provider managing thousands of homes across Manchester are currently looking to recruit a skilled/qualified electrician to work in the repairs and maintenance team



Description



You'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical faults, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and ensuring all work complies with current regulations and safety standards. Tasks may include:



Electrical inspections and testing

Fault finding and repairs

Rewiring and upgrades

Installing lighting, sockets, and consumer units

Supporting other trades when requiredYou'll work across occupied and void properties, independently and as part of a team, delivering high-quality service with minimal disruption to .



Profile



NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent

18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification

2391 testing/inspection would be beneficial

Full UK Driving Licence

Experience in domestic electrical maintenance, ideally within social housing

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work safely and follow health & safety proceduresJob Offer
