Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer \n\n(Fixed Wire Tester)\n\nSouthampton area\n\nA base salary of £38,000 with average earnings of c. £49,500 (base salary plus bonus, on call, overtime/weekends, and paid travel time).\nBonus is uncapped.\nA company car (available for private use for yourself and 1 other family member)\nFuel card provided.\nAll parking fees and work-related expenses covered.\nPension\nLaptop, PDA, testing equipment and uniformYour role as a Fixed Wire Testing Engineer:\n\nCarrying out Inspecting & Testing on customer's electrical installations (EICR's) including Emergency Lighting Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Mains Analysis, Thermal Imaging, and small remedial repairs as required.\nCompleting all relevant reports and certification associated with your inspection & testing our cloud-based certification software.\nEnsuring all reports and certification are completed and summited on time.Requirements:\n\nAM2 \nNVQ level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification \nThe flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including a 1-in-6 weekly evening shift to support their customers' requirements. \nA full UK Driving Licence, with 6 points or less.
\n\nAdvantageous:\n\nCity & Guilds 18th Edition qualification - (if not held the company will pay for this training)\nCity & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395 - (if not held the company will pay for this training)\nExperience working in an electrical testing environment.\nIPAF 3a & 3b licence.\nA good level of IT literacy. \nExperience with Electrical installation/project work\nAn understanding of UK Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace
