Qualified Electrician - Renewable Energy / Solar PV (Reading)\n\nThis is a full-time role (40 hours per week) offering a competitive Rates, opportunities for career development, and a focus on work-life balance.\n\nWhat's on Offer:\n\nWork-Life Balance: 23 days annual leave + bank holidays, with flexibility\nHealth & Wellbeing: 24/7 GP access, mental health support, fitness programmes\nProfessional Growth: Ongoing training and development to support your careerThe Role:\n\nYou will play a key part in delivering renewable energy solutions, including solar PV systems, working across domestic and/or commercial sites in and arround Leamington Spa.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\nInstall, test, and commission solar PV systems\nWork confidently with AC/DC circuits, inverters, isolators, and remote monitoring systems\nRead and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings\nDiagnose faults and perform repairs or maintenance as needed\nEnsure compliance with UK building regs and DNO (Distribution Network Operator) requirements\nAdhere to all Health & Safety regulations, risk assessments, and RAMS\nReport any unsafe appliances, installations, or practices\nOperate tools and equipment safely and correctly\nTravel regionally (or nationally if required)\nWork occasional overtime or weekends when necessaryRequirements:\n\nCompleted a recognised electrical apprenticeship or hold appropriate full electrical qualifications (Essential)\n18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations qualification (Essential)\nECS Gold Card (Essential)\nFull UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
