A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced Electrician to join a well-established and expanding mechanical and electrical engineering firm. The company operates across a wide range of sectors including Defence, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Government Agencies.



You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical installations as part of wider building services projects, working closely with engineers, project managers and site teams.



Key Responsibilities



* Carry out electrical installation work on commercial and industrial projects



* Install and test systems in accordance with the latest wiring regulations (BS 7671)



* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications



* Work effectively as part of a site team and liaise with other trades



* Assist in commissioning and handover of completed systems



* Maintain a high standard of workmanship and safety



* Ensure all tasks are completed to schedule and within budget



* Travel to project sites across the UK and abroad as required



About You



* Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)



* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (essential)



* ECS/JIB Gold Card () Test and Inspection



* Experience working on commercial or industrial installations



* Good knowledge of Health & Safety and safe systems of work



* Able to work from technical drawings and specifications



* Excellent communication and teamworking skills



* Full UK driving licence



* Security clearance would be beneficial
