We have a new opportunity for an Electrician to join a local council to deliver a high quality responsive repairs service in customer's homes.



Responsibilities:



Tracing, diagnosing, and rectifying faults using appropriate testing and measuring equipment.

Partial or full re-wiring to council properties, both domestic and communal, as required including testing, commissioning, and certifying of these works.

All types of cable containment, wiring of door entry systems, fire alarms, testing of emergency lighting and 3 phase power switching and distribution.

Planning each job and ensuring the required materials are available to ensure the programme of works are completed to schedule.Requirements:



Full UK Driving Licence (manual)

Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2018

City & Guilds 2360 Parts One and Two, or NVQ Level 3 including AM2 (or equivalent)

City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical InstallationsBenefits:
