We are currently seeking a Licensed Electrician! You will strive to provide efficient and high-quality electrical systems in a safe manner for a variety of customers. We server various customers in Albuquerque and surrounding areas including Sandia Laboratories, City of Albuquerque, the State of New Mexico, and various private commercial companies. You could have the opportunity to apply for and receive a Security Clearance through the Department of Energy and Sandia Laboratories.

ADDITIONAL INCENTIVE:

If you work at least 40 hours in a week, you will also receive an additional $4 per hour worked on top of the wage rate of $40.30 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures.
• Install and repair low voltage data-communications equipment and devices (both copper and fiber optic cable). Or be willing to learn.
• Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems.
• Troubleshoot motor and control systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems.
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes.

​​Qualifications:

• Currently held valid NM License EE-98J.
• Have a US passport, or US drivers license, or US ID card, and Social Security Card or Permanent Card.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening. Negative test result for THC necessary..
• Currently hold or willing to receive OSHA 10 and NFPA70E training.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
