Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a qualified Journeyman Electrician to support facilities operations in a hospital environment. The successful candidate must possess a California C-10 electrician's license (or equivalent), exhibit proficiency in complex electrical systems including high-voltage distribution and emergency power systems, and have verifiable experience working in a hospital or healthcare facility setting. This role requires technical competence, safety awareness, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of recent, full-time experience as a journeyman electrician.
- Emergency power generators and transfer switches.
- High-voltage systems (up to 12,000 volts).
- Hospital safety standards and maintenance regulations.
- Fire alarms, supervisory trouble alarms, and complex control consoles.
- Demonstrated knowledge in troubleshooting electromechanical systems and central control consoles.
- Experience maintaining medical/laboratory equipment electrical interfaces.
- Hospital or healthcare facility experience.
- demonstrate consistent customer service, professionalism, and compliance with all HIPPA regulations
- Electrical Code (NEC) application.
- Hospital-based electrical systems and infection control.
- Safety training related to confined spaces, fall protection, and high-voltage systems.

Experience Preferences:
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high productivity.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, stoop, kneel, and work in confined spaces.
- Work performed indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures and variable conditions.
- Must have rapid mental and muscular coordination, good vision, and ability to distinguish shades.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship program or trade school with verifiable transcripts/certification.
- Current and valid California Electrician's License – C-10 or equivalent (must submit proof).
- Associate's degree or vocational training in electrical systems, industrial electricity, or electronics.
- Additional certification in electrical safety, NEC compliance, or hospital electrical systems
