The LEAD Marine team aims to build trusting partnerships with candidate seeking long term opportunities in the ship building and ship repair industries nationwide. We work with some of the large international defense contractors and private yards and will leverage your work experience to match your skills with the right company.
$25.00 to $28.00 /Hour depending on experience
1st shift. Working 40 hours a week
Our client is hiring an experienced electrician to install electrical components on docks along the waterfront in St Augustine.
-Responsibilities:
- Assist dock electricians in wiring for electrical panels, receptacles, shore power, and dock lighting
- Pull wire and run PVC conduit on docks
- Cable & wire pulling
- Work as a part of a team with a positive attitude and a drive to take ownership and pride in their work
- Proficient with wiring devices & terminating
- Able to run & bend conduit
- Preform underground to trim out
- The installers/technicians will be working with other full time team members in commercial or outside marine dock environments
-Requirements:
- 4 years of electrical experience is required
- Basic tools and knowledge of how to use them
- Reading Prints & Preform Layouts
- Be available 40-50 hours a week
- Be able to withstand the heat working outside and staying hydrated
