We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Testing Technician to join our dynamic team in Springfield, IL. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electrical systems and components. Responsibilities
- Conduct electrical tests on various components and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports for review by engineering and management teams.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, providing effective solutions in a timely manner and repair systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate results.
- Document all testing procedures and results in accordance with company policies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field .
- Proven experience as an Electrical Testing Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
