Electrical Testing EngineerLocation : Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire & surrounding Home Counties areasJob Type : Full Time, PermanentSalary : Competitive salary + company van + benefitsThe OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Electrical testing engineer to join our growing business and take a lead part in testing & remedials within our commercial maintenance contracts & domestic settings. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong, experienced tester who has developed a range of skills including problem solving, adaptability and is self-motivated with the ability of self-management and the choice to take the extra responsibility of being a QS.This role will suit someone who is more than just a good electrician we are looking for someone who has been around the block, experienced, highly knowledgeable and maybe considering part time / full time testing the role can be moulded to the right candidate.What Youll Be DoingTaking responsibility for the testing, certification & remedials.Dealing with clients directly with support from our admin team.Teaching your skills to an apprenticeKeeping up to date with current regulations and staying ahead of changesHybrid role FT position 1 day WFH to complete test sheets & verifyWorking with NICEIC softwareWhat Were Looking ForA qualified Approved Electrician with relevant electrical qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.18th Edition (BS7671).Proven experience in testing is essentialStrong communication and organisational skills.Full UK driving license.2391 / 2392 Inspection & Testing or equivalentDesirable QualificationsSMSTS / SSSTS / NEBOSHWhat We OfferCompetitive salary depending on experience.Company van and uniform & PPE including power tools.Company pension contribution.20 days holiday plus bank holidays.Permanent role with genuine long-term career progression.Laptop & softwareThe chance to join an established contractor with over 40 years of experience delivering electrical fit-out, maintenance, alteration and large-scale construction projects.About UsWe are an established electrical contractor with more than 40 years of experience, delivering everything from maintenance and alterations through to large-scale electrical fit-out and turnkey installations.
