Electrical Testing Engineer

My client is recruiting for an experienced Test Engineer to join their Operations team in an established business in Leeds. My client are a leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical power distribution equipment and pioneers of ultimate low loss amorphous transformer technology.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Testing, repair and troubleshooting across the range of company products both inhouse and on site.\n\n * In-house testing of transformers/marshalling enclosures/control panels\n\n * Testing of LV cabinets and control devices\n\n * Complete protection modifications\n\nSkills, knowledge & experience\n\n * Minimum of 5 years testing experience within an electrical engineering company\n\n * Experience of testing and commissioning transformers essential.\n\n * Hold electrical qualifications and have knowledge of electrical regulations is essential\n\n * The ability to understand electrical schematic drawings is essential\n\n * Clear understanding of Health & Safety & Risk Assessment policies and responsibility\n\n * Have good written and verbal communication skills\n\n * Experience of working collaboratively with other operations personnel\n\n * Ideally experience of working within a continuous improvement environment\n\n * Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach\n\n * Good communication skills\n\n * Flexibility to assist in other departments when required
