Electrical Test Engineer\n\nLondon & South East\n\nUp to £50,000 + Van + Fuel Card + Overtime\n\nMobile Role\n\nWe're recruiting an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to join a growing technical contractor carrying out EICRs, inspection & testing, and remedial works across a portfolio of commercial properties throughout London and the South East.\n\nThis role is ideal for a quality-focused engineer who takes pride in producing accurate reports, delivering high standards of workmanship, and building strong client relationships.\n\nThe Role\n\nCarrying out EICRs across commercial sites\n\nInspection, testing, and certification works\n\nProducing detailed and compliant reports\n\nIdentifying defects and recommending remedial actions\n\nCompleting remedial works where required\n\nWorking closely with clients and site teams\n\nEnsuring compliance with BS7671 and industry standards\n\nRequirements\n\n18th Edition\n\n2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)\n\nExperience carrying out commercial EICRs\n\nStrong understanding of BS7671\n\nFull UK Driving License\n\nExcellent reporting and communication skills\n\nDesirable\n\nCommercial remedial experience\n\nIPAF / PASMA\n\nCompliance contract experience\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\nSalary up to £50,000\n\nCompany Van & Fuel Card\n\nSignificant Overtime Available\n\nRealistic Earnings of £60,000–£70,000+\n\nPrivate Medical Cover\n\nPension Scheme\n\nOngoing Training & Development\n\nClear Progression into Senior Tester, Supervisor, or QS Roles\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a business that values quality over quantity and offers genuine long-term career progression within electrical compliance
