Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Tester to join our team delivering temporary site services across a range of live construction projects in London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company with long-term work and the potential to move into a permanent role for the right candidate.\n\nYou’ll be responsible for testing, inspecting, and certifying electrical installations in line with current regulations, ensuring all temporary site power systems are installed and maintained safely and efficiently.\n\nElectrical Tester Key Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Carry out electrical testing, inspection, and certification of temporary site installations (110V/240V/415V systems).\n\n * \n\n Identify faults, complete remedial work, and issue relevant test documentation.\n\n * \n\n Ensure compliance with BS7671 and company safety procedures.\n\n * \n\n Work closely with site teams to deliver reliable temporary electrical services.\n\n * \n\n Support installation and maintenance of temporary lighting, power distribution, and site services equipment.\n\nElectrical Tester Requirements\n\n * \n\n NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.\n\n * \n\n City & Guilds 2391 / 2394-95 Testing & Inspection (or equivalent).\n\n * \n\n ECS / JIB Gold Card\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of BS7671 Wiring Regulations (18th Edition).\n\n * \n\n Previous experience with temporary site services or construction site power systems.\n\n * \n\n Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across multiple London sites.\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * \n\n Long-term opportunity with potential to go permanent.\n\n * \n\n Ongoing projects across London – steady, local work.\n\n * \n\n Competitive pay with overtime opportunities.\n\n * \n\n Supportive and safety-focused team environment.\n\nInterested?\nApply now with your CV below
