Electrical Tester

We are currently seeking a qualified Electrical Tester to join our team for a high-profile commercial project in Oxford.



Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and inspecting electrical installations in accordance with current IET Wiring Regulations and producing relevant certification. This is a hands-on role that will involve working alongside other electricians and site managers to ensure high standards and safety compliance.



Electrical Tester Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out fixed wire testing on commercial installations



*



Identifying and diagnosing faults



*



Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)



*



Ensuring all work complies with BS7671 regulations



*



Liaising with site supervisors and project managers



*



Maintaining accurate records and documentation



Elecrtrical Tester Requirements:



*



ECS gold card



*



Own calibrated testing equipment



*



City & Guilds 2391, 2394/2395 or equivalent testing and inspection qualification



*



18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)



*



Previous commercial site experience



*



Ability to work independently and manage workload



*



Strong attention to detail and safety standards
