Electrical Test Operator in Bolton
Job Description
My client is looking for several Electrical Test Operators to join them on an initial 12-month basis. As the Electrical Test Operator will be responsible for carrying out test tasks within the operational business, in accordance with product certification procedures, defined workmanship standards, allocated budgets and timescales to meet project objectives.\n\nRole: Electrical Test Operator\n Pay: £28.35 per hour via Umbrella (rising to £29.70)\n Location: Bolton\n Contract: 12 Months (possible extension)\n Hours: Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week\n Security Clearance: Security Clearance required however can start on BPSS\n\nResponsibilities: \n\nCertify the product in line with the product certification procedure.\nMaintain product certification and approval via regular audits.\nPossess a versatile skill base with the capability to apply these skills across a range of tasks.\nBe fully conversant with all equipment, tools and measuring instruments associated with the manufacturing cycle.\nEnsure manufacturing build, inspection and where relevant, test times are met.\nCheck and complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack.\nMaintain to the highest level, workmanship standards and product quality.\nEnsure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.\nMaintain a safe working environment.\nMaintain a good housekeeping policy.\nCommunicate best practice to other team members.Skillset/experience required:\n\nThe successful candidate should be a team player who is able to demonstrate customer focus. They should also have proven planning and organising skills and be flexible and adaptable.\nFormal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21/ONC.
