We’re looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone with a passion for electronics, wiring, and assembly work, who’s ready to develop their technical skills and grow within a specialist manufacturing environment.
 In this role, you’ll be responsible for the manufacture, assembly, and testing of high-voltage electrical test equipment, working from technical drawings and engineering documentation.
 Key Responsibilities
Manufacture, assemble, and test electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
Carry out soldering on electrical control boards and wiring harnesses.
Assemble, crimp, and route complex wiring harnesses.
Perform fault-finding and repairs on electrical and associated assemblies.
Maintain all workshop tools and equipment, reporting any issues to the Production Manager.
Ensure calibration of tools and equipment remains up to date and within specification.
Complete production job cards and all related quality documentation accurately.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Keep work areas organised, clean, and safe.
Use appropriate PPE as directed.
Contribute positively to team culture and support additional production activities as required.Skills, Experience & Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification/time-served in Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing.
Previous experience in an electronics or electrical assembly environment.
Skilled in wiring and soldering.
Experience building and testing harnesses.
Familiarity with high-voltage systems is advantageous.
Good IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.Personal Attributes
