Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician\n\nLocation: Sheffield\n Reports to: Site Facilities Supervisor / Site Facilities Manager\n Employment Status: Full-time, rotating days and afternoons shift pattern\n\nPurpose of the Role\n\nWe are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our technical maintenance team. This multi-skilled role supports the operation of site infrastructure services, ensuring reliability, safety, and continuous improvement across the facility.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nTechnical Maintenance\n\nMaintain, test, service, fault-find, modify, and repair a wide range of electrical equipment\nSupport site infrastructure, including:\nEmergency lighting\nControl panels\nMotors, pumps, inverter drives, conveyors\nLV systems\nInternal and external lighting\nCarry out basic electrical installations as required\nConduct electrical testing and inspection (PAT, RCDs, electrical installations)\nUndertake basic HVAC fault-finding and repairs\nWork toward becoming APLV for the siteOperational & Compliance Duties\n\nEnsure all work requests are completed to maximise operational uptime\nLog downtime and report root cause analysis\nWork closely with site management, supervisors, peers, and Mondelez teams\nSupport site health & safety processes including PTW issue and contractor control\nComplete all required training and contribute to departmental continuous improvementDimensions of the Role\n\nFull-time, 5 days per week\nIncludes scheduled weekends, shift work, and an on-call rota\nNo direct reports\nDaily interaction with client shift managers and operational teams\nBased at the Mondelez Sheffield siteExperience, Qualifications & Skills\n\nEssential\n\nMulti-skilled engineering background\nCity & Guilds, BTEC, ONC / HNC or equivalent engineering qualification\n18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations\nStrong electrical fault-finding skills\nElectrical installation capability\nAbility to read, interpret, and sketch technical drawings and documentation\nGood knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety standards and regulatory requirements\nStrong organisational and planning skills\nGood IT literacy (PC basics)\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independently or as part of a team\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nHigh customer focusDesirable\n\nKnowledge of control systems, inverter drives, BMS, and PLCsRG Setsquare is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
