We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Technician to join a well-established industrial processing facility based in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation operating within a critical infrastructure environment.
The role will focus on delivering planned and reactive maintenance activities, supporting plant reliability, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver planned maintenance (PM) schedules in line with site maintenance plans
* Carry out reactive and corrective maintenance to minimise downtime
* Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions to maintain production performance
* Support and deliver improvement projects aimed at increasing plant reliability and reducing costs
* Assess malfunctioning equipment and provide technical recommendations to site management
* Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in Electro-Technical Installations (or equivalent), or:
* City & Guilds 2365-2 (Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations)
* City & Guilds 2357-3 (Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnology)
* City & Guilds 2382 (17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
* Full UK driving licence
* Experience carrying out electrical maintenance in a fast-paced industrial, manufacturing, or production environment
* Working knowledge of CMMS systems and electrical plant equipment
* Strong understanding of proactive maintenance strategies and condition monitoring
* Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
