Position Summary
The Electrical Technician provides electrical and programming support for repairs, troubleshooting, new equipment installation, and startup of industrial manufacturing equipment. The role works closely with management, mechanics, and OEM technical service teams to ensure equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably.
Duties and Responsibilities

Follow all safety rules and procedures, including Lock-out Tag-out, GMPs, and SQF standards.

Troubleshoot and repair automated material handling systems and related equipment.

Perform preventative maintenance and ensure minimal downtime.

Work with Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and other electrical control systems.

Maintain, repair, and install 480V electrical distribution, mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, PCs, robotics, and control networks.

Read and interpret work orders, drawings, blueprints, diagrams, and equipment manuals.

Communicate effectively with co-workers and management to ensure production goals are met.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
-
Minimum 10 years of industrial electrical experience.

Minimum 3 years of PLC programming experience.

Strong knowledge of VFDs, HMIs, analog sensors, controllers, and 480V electrical systems.

Experience with RSLogix 500, Studio 5000, and Factory Talk View Studio required.

Strong mechanical and/or electrical skills; panel assembly and control wiring experience required.

Ability to lift 40 lbs, climb stairs and ladders, and work overtime/irregular hours as needed.

Forklift and scissor lift certification required or obtainable.

Electrical degree or certifications are a plus.

Clear oral and written communication skills in English.
Physical Requirements

Sit, stand, or walk short distances for long periods.

Lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs occasionally.

Climb stairs or ladders, stoop, kneel, or bend occasionally.

Use hands frequently to handle, carry, or feel objects.

Must comply with all safety standards and wear required personal protective equipment.
Compensation and Benefits
-
Salary: $39.48 – $41.30 per hour ($82,118 – $85,904 per year)

Bonus: Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance (if applicable).

Paid Time Off (PTO): Up to 2 weeks per year (prorated based on hire date).
