Job Description

BMSL are looking for an experienced working supervisor for an 8 month duration in Edinburgh city centre.\n\nPrevious experience in a fast moving commercial project is required please find more details below.\n\nCandidate Requirements\n\n * \n\n * SSSTS\n\n * Valid CSCS card\n\n * Able to carry out the duties below:\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n * Review design requirements once appointed by the Project Manager and identify any missing information\n\n * Raise and manage technical queries via the Design Development Tracker and the Project Manager\n\n * Issue delivery schedules to suppliers\n\n * Issue the project programme to subcontractors\n\n * Coordinate material deliveries, site storage, and laydown areas\n\n * Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors to commence works\n\n * Monitor site progress and report updates to the project team and Director\n\n * Ensure operatives comply with RAMS and wear the correct PPE\n\n * Ensure any changes are recorded and communicated to the project team\n\n * Direct tradesmen, operatives, and subcontractors to carry out works safely and efficiently\n\n * Attend site progress meetings with the customer\n\n * Alert the Buyer to any supplier issues or concerns\n\n * Carry out quality inspections across all elements of work\n\n * Carry out demonstrations of M&E installations to the customer and end user\n\n * Carry out electrician installation work as required
