Job Description
Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.\n\nDue to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrical Supervisor to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.\n\nWe are looking for an Electrical Supervisor who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.\n\nThe Electrical Supervisor, will be responsible for:\n\n * To supervise and coordinate a team in the delivery of all maintenance related activities ensuring contractual and compliance obligations are met\n\n * To schedule and undertake planned preventative maintenance on Mechanical & Electrical installations and services with a focus on building critical systems.\n\n * Daily monitoring & responsibility of all main plant & equipment within buildings.\n\n * Ensure all compliance certification is valid and in date.\n\n * Communication & liaison with both suppliers & specialist contractors for parts & repair requirements.\n\n * Liaise with operational teams to ensure compliant, safe and sufficient delivery of services through third party sub-contractors.\n\n * Liaise / interface with other external bodies to ensure the smooth delivery of services\n\n * Ensure all reactive tasks are raised through the helpdesk and delivered within their SLA\n\nTo be successful for this Electrical Supervisor role you must have:\n\n * City and Guilds NVQ level 3 in electrical engineering & Installation or equivalent\n\n * IET Wiring Regs to 18th edition BS7671:2018\n\n * High Voltage Authorised Persons Course (desirable)\n\n * City & Guilds 2391 test and inspection (desirable)\n\n * Ability to supervise teams and work across all levels of management\n\nIf you feel you have the necessary skills set and experience to perform this Electrical Supervisor role, and you are interested in an opportunity offering unparalleled career development, please apply now
