Job Description

Key Responsibilities:\n- Manage a team of electricians and instrumentation technicians\n- Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines\n- Coordinate with other supervisors, engineers, and contractors\n- Conduct site inspections and quality checks\n- Review and approve documentation, including test records and inspection reports\n- Technical Requirements:\n- In-depth knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, including wiring, control systems, and instrumentation calibration\n- Familiarity with relevant UK standards and regulations (e.g., BS 7671, IEC 61511)\n- Experience with project management software and documentation control\n- Skills and Qualities:\n- Strong leadership and communication skills\n- Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex issues\n- Problem-solving and analytical skills\n- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines\nTypical qualifications include an HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field, plus several years of experience in a similar role. Relevant certifications, such as City & Guilds or EAL, are also beneficial
