Electrical Supervisor - Water Sector (AMP8 Programme)



Gatwick - Contract - Rolling 6 Months | £450/day (Outside IR35, Ltd Company)



A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support delivery of AMP8 water projects for a major framework client. This is a live site role with responsibility for supervising electrical installation and commissioning works, ensuring quality, compliance, and safe delivery of process improvements including chemical dosing systems, humus tanks, and inlet works.



Key Responsibilities:



Supervise and coordinate all site electrical activities safely and efficiently.

Support commissioning and installation works on a live wastewater site.

Produce and distribute Method Statements and Work Instructions.

Monitor progress, inspect materials, and maintain traceability.

Ensure compliance with IET standards, WIMES, and company systems.

Manage subcontractors and site electrical works effectively.

Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and client representatives.

Identify non-conformances and recommend improvements.



Requirements:



Proven experience supervising electrical works on live sites.

City & Guilds in Electrical Installation

ECS/CSCS Card

BS7671 – 18th Edition

EUSR Water Hygiene Card

SSSTS minimum (SMSTS )

LV AP12 (Authorised Person) desirable

First Aid at Work

Thames Water Passport advantageous

Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards
