Electrical Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance, and compliance of temporary electrical site services on a major construction project. This is a key role ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of temporary power solutions across the site.



Electrical Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all temporary electrical site works.



*



Manage a team of electricians and subcontractors.



*



Ensure all works comply with current regulations (BS 7671, HSE guidelines, etc.).



*



Liaise with site management, project engineers, and safety teams.



*



Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.



*



Oversee installation of temporary power, lighting, and distribution boards.



*



Maintain accurate records of inspections, permits, and certifications.



*



Monitor use of materials and ensure cost-effective practices.



*



Ensure site-wide electrical systems are safe, reliable, and compliant.



Electrical Supervisor Requirements:



*



NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.



*



ECS Gold Card



*



SSSTS or SMSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme).



*



18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.



*



Experience supervising temporary site electrical works.



*



Strong understanding of site safety protocols.



*



Excellent leadership and communication skills.



*



Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
