Electrical Superintendent – Commercial/Industrial
Location: Victoria, Texas
Employment Type: Full-Time
Start Date: Immediate
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee and lead the electrical scope for a large commercial/industrial project in Victoria, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of NEC and OSHA standards, and proven success managing large crews on high-value projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all electrical work on site, ensuring compliance with plans, NEC codes, and safety regulations.
- Manage subcontractors and electrical crews to maintain productivity and quality.
- Coordinate with general contractors, engineers, and other trades.
- Maintain project schedules and provide regular progress updates.
- Conduct job site inspections and resolve field issues.
- Plan production and ensure code compliance.
- Oversee material procurement, track inventory, and prepare bills of materials for upcoming tasks.
- Keep detailed daily logs of site activity.
- Maintain high standards for construction quality and project documentation.
Qualifications
- 10–15 years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 5 years in a superintendent role.
- Strong background in large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
- In-depth knowledge of NEC, OSHA standards, and local electrical codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing electrical crews of 10–30 workers.
- : Master Electrician license.
- Required: OSHA-30 Certification.
- License: Valid Driver’s License ().
