Overview:
Our client is looking to bring on an experienced
Electrical Superintendent
to oversee field operations. This role requires frequent travel (company-paid lodging and daily per diem provided) and is ideal for professionals used to working on the road, particularly those from
solar, oil & gas, or energy infrastructure
backgrounds. Must be wiling to travel 85% of the time.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead and supervise on-site installation of electrical systems for solar and energy storage projects
Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and materials to meet project timelines
Ensure adherence to NEC code, safety regulations, and project specifications
Interpret and work from electrical plans, single-line diagrams, and site layouts
Oversee daily site operations, perform inspections, and maintain accurate job logs
Partner with project management to drive schedules, resolve issues, and keep costs under control
What We’re Looking For:
Journeyman Electrician License (or relevant field experience)
3+ years of hands-on leadership managing electrical crews
Prior experience on commercial or utility-scale
solar projects

Comfortable with extensive travel (85%+); prior experience in remote or rotating-site roles a plus
Proficient in interpreting schematics, blueprints, and electrical layouts
OSHA 30 certification
