Electrical Superintendent

$4,000/mo for travelers

Albany, NY

Join a team supporting the construction of a state-of-the-art advanced manufacturing facility. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee field operations, drive project execution, and ensure electrical work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong field coordination, communication, and the ability to keep complex electrical construction activities moving forward in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily electrical construction activities on a large-scale industrial project.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, field crews, vendors, and project stakeholders to maintain project schedules.
  • Monitor installation quality and ensure work complies with project specifications, drawings, codes, and safety requirements.
  • Identify and resolve field issues while minimizing schedule impacts.
  • Conduct daily planning meetings, coordinate work activities, and communicate project priorities.
  • Track project progress and proactively address schedule or resource constraints.
  • Maintain strong communication with project management, engineering, quality, and client representatives.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork throughout the project.
  • Ensure work is completed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent or Electrical Field Superintendent.
  • Previous experience supporting life sciences, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, or other advanced manufacturing facilities.
  • Strong background managing electrical construction on large industrial or mission-critical projects.
  • Proven ability to lead field teams and drive project milestones to successful completion.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and electrical plans.
  • Experience coordinating multiple trades in an active construction environment.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Albany, NY.
  • Typical work schedule is approximately 50 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting semiconductor fabrication facilities, pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology, or cleanroom construction.
  • Experience working for a General Contractor, EPC, or EPCM firm.
  • OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
