Job Description

Electrical Site Engineer – BESS

Contract: 6 months (outside IR35)

Location: North West England (site-based)

Sector: Battery Energy Storage / Power Infrastructure

Mint Selection is supporting a bttery energy storage project in the North West of England and is seeking an Electrical Site Engineer to support site delivery during the construction phase.

Responsibilities

• Site-based electrical engineering support on a utility-scale BESS project
• Coordinate electrical installation works including HV/LV, PCS, transformers and cabling
• Liaise with electrical contractors, OEMs and the client team
• Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and programme
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities
• Maintain high standards of H&S and quality on site

Experience Required

• Previous experience working as an Electrical Site Engineer on BESS, substations or power projects
• Strong understanding of UK electrical installation standards
• Experience working on live construction sites
• Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple contractors
