Electrical Shift Engineer – Commercial FM\n\nLocation: South Bank, London\n\nShift Pattern: Days & Nights (Continental Shift)\n\nContract: Permanent\n\nSalary: Up to £48,750 per annum\n\nA leading Facilities Management provider is recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a high-profile commercial site in South Bank. This is a critical role within a 24/7 operation, offering long-term stability and excellent earning potential in a flagship London location.\n\nThe Role\n\nWorking as part of a professional shift team, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and fault-finding of all electrical building services, ensuring the site remains safe, compliant, and fully operational at all times.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works\n\t\nFault-find on lighting, power, emergency lighting, distribution boards, UPS, and generators\n\t\nMonitor and respond to BMS and alarm systems\n\t\nComplete permits to work, shift handovers, and maintenance documentation\n\t\nSupport statutory compliance and site audits\n\t\nLiaise with management, subcontractors, and the wider engineering team\n\t\nProvide first-line response to electrical breakdowns and emergencies\n\nWhat They Are looking For\n\nNVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering\n\t\n18th Edition Wiring Regulations\n\t\nExperience in commercial or critical environments\n\t\nStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skills\n\t\nAbility to workdays and nights as part of a shift team\n\t\nProfessional, safety-focused approach\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\nSalary up to £48,750\n\t\nContinental shift pattern\n\t\nOvertime and training opportunities\n\t\nStable role on a premium South Bank site\n\t\nSupportive, well-structured engineering team\n\nIf you’re an electrical engineer looking for a well-paid shift role in Central London, this is an excellent opportunity.\n\nApply now to be considered
