You will like\n\nQS ’ing electrical project/package on £100M+ Cardiff UK Healthcare project for UK Electrical Construction SubContractor with 50+ years excellent reputation for quality and delivery.\n\nYou will like\n\nThe Electrical Quantity Surveyor - Electrical QS job itself which is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join an expanding Team – and hit the ground running As Electrical Quantity Surveyor you will be joining a successful team including two other quantity surveyors on a multimillion-pound new hospital project in Cardiff.  As Electrical Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of projects. They will strive to minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money while achieving the required standards and quality. More specifically: \n\nResponsibilities\n\nCost Management: Monitor budgets during project execution to ensure work stays within projected costs. Implement cost-saving measures where possible.

\n\t\nContractual Negotiation & Management: Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Ensure that contract terms are favourable and align with project requirements & manage contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle. Risk Management: Identify financial risks associated with the project.

Develop strategies to mitigate risks and minimise potential cost overruns. Regularly review project progress and adjust plans as needed. \n\t\nReporting: Prepare reports with detailed analysis of the cost and benefits of different options and recommend the best course of action.\n\t\nProcurement and Payment Processes: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.  Client Communication and Dispute Resolution: Meet with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns.

Provide advice on legal matters related to contracts and disputes. Facilitate communication between project teams and clients. \n\t\nReporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports detailing project costs, progress, and financial status.

Keep accurate records of labour, materials, and other expenses.\n\nYou will have\n\nTo be successful as an Electrical Quantity Surveyor - Electrical QS, you will have experience within the Building Services Sector as a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor or Electrical Quantity Surveyor.\n\nBachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, or a related field. \n\t\nStrong analytical and critical thinking skills.\n\t\nExcellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.\n\t\nGreat networking ability. \n\t\nStrong analytical and numerical abilities.

\n\t\nProficiency in relevant software (e.g., cost estimation tools, project management software). \n\t\nKnowledge of construction contracts and regulations. Experience: \n\t\nProven track record as a Quantity Surveyor or cost management in Construction or Building Services.
