Electrical QA Manager

About the Role\nWe are currently seeking an experienced Electrical QA Manager to join our growing project delivery team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to play a key role in ensuring high-quality electrical installations across residential developments.\nYou will be responsible for overseeing and verifying the quality, compliance, and commissioning of all electrical systems, working closely with subcontractors, project managers, and design teams. This role is critical to maintaining safety standards, technical accuracy, and delivery timelines.\nKey Responsibilities\n * \n Conduct regular quality assurance inspections on electrical installations.\n * \n Ensure all electrical work complies with project specifications, current regulations, and company quality standards.\n * \n Review and validate documentation, including test certificates, commissioning reports, and handover files.\n * \n Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors to resolve installation issues and quality non-conformances.\n * \n Provide technical support and guidance on electrical installation best practices.\n * \n Monitor compliance with the latest IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and ensure all installations meet safety requirements.\n * \n Work closely with the project manager to report on QA progress, risks, and remedial actions.\n * \n Assist with witnessing and sign-off of key stages, including first-fix, second-fix, and final commissioning.\nKey Requirements\n * \n Proven experience in a QA or supervisory role within electrical building services or residential construction.\n * \n Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and regulatory requirements (BS 7671).\n * \n Experience working with QA/QC documentation and handover procedures.\n * \n City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection and Testing) or equivalent .\n * \n NVQ Level 3 or higher in Electrical Installation.\n * \n ECS/CSCS Card (Gold or Black ).\n * \n SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable).\n * \n Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.\n * \n A proactive approach to health and safety and quality management.\nWhat We Offer\n * \n Competitive salary and benefits package\n * \n Opportunity to work on high-quality residential developments\n * \n Supportive team environment with clear career progression\n * \n Access to training and continuous professional development\nHow to Apply\nTo apply for the Electrical QA Manager position, please submit your updated CV and a brief cover note outlining your experience and suitability for the role
