The Electrical Purchasing Agent will play a vital role in managing vendor relationships and ensuring cost-effective procurement to support our client's project management and field teams effectively. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate blanket purchase agreements with key electrical suppliers.
• Establish and maintain blanket purchase agreements with key electrical suppliers.
• Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contract terms.
• Negotiate cost-saving early payment term discounts and track generated savings.
• Provide accurate and competitive pricing to the estimating department for bids and proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and finance to align purchasing strategies with business goals.
• Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve discrepancies with vendors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in electrical purchasing or procurement within the commercial construction sector.
• Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills.
• Familiarity with blanket agreements and early payment discount structures.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
