Job Description
Our client, a leading general contractor with one of the largest in-house electrical teams and deep expertise in large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects is seeking Electrical Project Managers to lead complex builds. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on technical challenges and wants full ownership of major electrical projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, with contract values of $45m+ contract value.
- Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to drive execution and maintain strong relationships.
- Lead procurement of electrical materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Monitor financial performance, including pay applications, cost forecasting, and change management.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and project success.
- Champion safety, quality, and compliance across all phases of the project.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience managing electrical projects in one or more of the following sectors: Mission Critical, Heavy Industrial, or Water/Wastewater.
- Proven ability to self-perform electrical projects of $3M+ contract value.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and specifications.
- Expertise in budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and cost control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
