Electrical Project Manager\n \nLocation: South of England (Oxford, London & surrounding areas)\n Salary: Highly competitive, dependent on experience\n\n Company Overview \nOur client is an established MEP contractor with over 100 years of experience delivering projects across London and the South of England. Operating from multiple offices, the business employs approximately 130 staff and generates an annual turnover of circa £25 million.\n\n Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are expanding their project delivery team.\n\n Role Overview \nThe Electrical Project Manager will manage all electrical aspects of multiple projects simultaneously, typically overseeing 2–3 live commercial projects with values up to £2 million. Sectors include offices, healthcare, higher education, and museums.\n The role covers full lifecycle project management from contract award through to handover, ensuring compliance, quality, and commercial performance, while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.\n\n Key Responsibilities \n\nManage electrical projects from contract award through to completion and handover\nOversee 2–3 concurrent projects, including Site Supervisors, Site Managers, and subcontract labour\nBuild and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, and welfare standards across all sites\nReview and audit design information to ensure compliance and accuracy\nOversee commissioning processes and ensure installations meet required standards\nManage procurement of materials and subcontract packages\nMaintain detailed project records including quality control, testing, commissioning, and maintenance documentation\nWork closely with the commercial team to monitor progress and ensure contractual compliance\nPrepare, manage, and submit variations and associated applications\nAttend and contribute to site and project meetings\nOversee preparation of operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals\nProvide technical support and guidance to project teams\nManage variation costings alongside the Quantity Surveyor and main contractor\nLead project handover and aftercare processes\nSplit time between site locations and office\nReport directly to the Operations Director\n Requirements \n\nMinimum 5+ years’ experience as an Electrical Project Manager\nProven track record delivering commercial electrical projects up to £2 million\nValid Black CSCS Card (Manager level)\nSSSTS or SMSTS qualification required\nHND or HNC in Electrical Engineering or Building Services advantageous\nStrong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills\n Desirable \n\nExperience across sectors such as healthcare, education, or heritage projects\nStrong commercial awareness and understanding of contract management\nExperience working within established MEP contractors\n\n Salary & Benefits \n\nHighly competitive salary (dependent on experience)\nCompany vehicle or car allowance\nCompany pension scheme\n24 days annual leave plus bank holidays\nClear career progression opportunities\n#INDPERM
